They have formed the “Shri Kanchi bala thiruvilaku Pooja Committee” registered under the government. They conduct special Thiruvilaku poojas in many Kanchipuram temples and in other cities. All the pooja items are provided free of cost. (There is no participating fee levied for this pooja).
They conduct Thiruvasagam recitals and provide free oil for lighting of lamps in temples. They also conduct kumbabishekams in a grand manner.
They also run Shri Kanchi Bala Old age Home, here neglected elders are provided free shelter, and food. Clothes are donated, free marriages are conducted for the economically challenged young couples, mangalsutra is provided free of cost. Women are trained in handicraft work so that they can earn their own livelihood and lead a self sustained life. Free medical camps are also conducted.. |
